Transparencia Electoral and CADAL organized a conference about the “Elections in Colombia: change or continuity?” with the consultant Javier Loaiza as guest speaker.
The conference was held at the office of CADAL and was presented by Leandro Querido, executive secretary of Transparencia Electoral.
Javier Loaiza is consultant, researcher, political analyst and international speaker with more than 25 years of experience in topics as leadership, political parties and political management. He studied Law and Political Science. He holds an Honorary Doctorate Award (2005) in Ibero-American Education, awarded by the Ibero-American Center for Educational Excellence. He has published the books “Partidos de ciudadanos”, “El tamaño del cambio”, realized researches about political issues, and published numerous essays and articles in magazines and newspapers. He has co-authored 24 e-books on topics as leadership, management, political strategy, local government and economy for politicians.
He is director of the Escuela de Gobierno Tomás Moro, EGTM; coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Masters degree programme in Political Sciences a distance/virtual of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, UPM, member of the board of directors of foundations and institutions of Colombia and Spain. He has been an advisor of presidential candidates, senators and internacional party organizations as the Unión de Partidos Latinoamericanos UPLA. He was advisor of the private secretary in the Presidency of Andrés Pastrana, in Colombia, when he worked as speechwriter. He was consultant of PNUD Colombia, for the Ministry of Economic Development. He participated in the international election observations in different countries.
