The documentary portrays the final two years of Václav Havel's life, between 2009 and 2011, during which he directed the film Leaving. In 2026, the 90th anniversary of Havel's birth on 5 October 1936 and the 15th anniversary of his death on 18 December 2011 are being commemorated.
