After the primaries, towards October: electoral supply and demand in Uruguay

At Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel took place the new edition of Foro Latinoamericano Montevideo, in this case with a presentation by sociologist Ignacio Zuasnábar, Public Opinion Director of EQUIPOS MORI, who analyzed the recent internal elections in Uruguay. The Forum began with the launch of a survey by Nelson Fernández on ''Ciudad Vieja's pulse: elections and financial decisions''.

At Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel took place the new edition of Foro Latinoamericano Montevideo, in this case with a presentation by sociologist Ignacio Zuasnábar, Public Opinion Director of EQUIPOS MORI. Zuasnábar analyzed the recent internal elections in Uruguay and offered a good quantity of data on the electoral behavior and gave and exclusive advance of the results of a survey that took place on June 28.

Ignacio Zuasnabar is Public Opinion Director since 2005 and Services Manager since 2007. BA in Sociology at Universidad Católica del Uruguay, Master in Sociology and Political Science at Universidad del País Vasco (Spain), and Ph.D. candidate in Sociology and Political Science from Universidad de Deusto (Spain). He is professor at Universidad Católica del Uruguay and vice-chairman of AUCIP (Asociación Uruguaya de Ciencia Política).

 

The Forum began with the launch of a survey by Nelson Fernández, CADAL's officer in Uruguay, on "Ciudad Vieja's pulse: elections and financial decisions".

The participants at the Forum, businessmen, diplomats, and public servants, received several publications by CADAL and 20th edition of Perspectiva: Revista Latinoamericana de Política, Economía y Sociedad.
