With the participation of economist Pablo Montaldo and the sponsorship of hotel boutique AWA from Punta del Este, CADAL organized a new edition of Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires, where the macroeconomic performance of Uruguay was analyzed, as well as the long run projections, the economic policy of Frente Amplio, the shades of Mujica's government in comparison to that of Vázquez, the internal contradictions and the possible scenarios.
Pablo Montaldo holds a Masters degree on Economics, Escuela de Postgraduación en Economía, Fundación Getulio Vargas, Río de Janeiro (1987-1988) and a Postgraduate degree on Advanced Marketing, Instituto de Estudios Empresariales de Montevideo (IEEM) (2005). He is author of the book “El Negocio Bursátil y los Valores de Renta Fija” (Universidad de la República, 2006). In the private activity he serves as Executive director of Montaldo Sociedad de Bolsa S.A., Summa Factoring (Summa FSF S.A.), Los Ases Casa de Cambio (Loyar S.A.), he is Director of Gato Dumas Colegio de Cocineros, Montevideo headquarters, Director of Intramerica Software, Director of Centro de Convenciones La Torre de los Profesionales and serves as consultant in the areas of finance and investment projects. He is member of CADAL's Advisory Council in Uruguay.
At the end of the event a free stay at Hotel boutique AWa Punta del Este was given by a draw of lots. The winner was Valeria Vincent, journalist at El Cronista Comercial.
