On Thursday, October 11, took place the presentation of the research report Press Freedom and Economic Development in Latin America 2007 at Universidad ORT in Montevideo. The launch was in charge of its author and Programs Director of CADAL, Hernán Alberro and the comments were made by (from left to right) Gusmán Castro, undergraduate candidate of International Studies at Universidad ORT; Professor Javier Bonilla Saus, Academic Coordinator of International Studies of the same university and the economist Gustavo Michelin, professor at Administration and Social Sciences College and former consultant of División de Planificación Macroeconómica y Financiera of Economy and Finance Minister of Uruguay. Andrés Bancalari, adjunct academic coordinator of international studies, was the moderator of the meeting.
