Tribute to Václav Havel

At the second anniversary of the death of Václav Havel, Instituto Vaclav Havel from CADAL’s Puente Democratico Program organized at Centro Cultural Recoleta a tribute to former Czech President projecting the documentary “The power of the powerless”, about the inspiring story of Velvet Revolution of 1989.

At the second anniversary of the death of Václav Havel, Instituto Vaclav Havel from CADAL’s Puente Democratico Program organized at Centro Cultural Recoleta a tribute to former Czech President projecting the documentary “The power of the powerless”, about the inspiring story of Velvet Revolution of 1989.

The documentary “The power of the powerless” was directed by Cory Taylor (2009, 78 minutes), featuring the narration of the Oscar winner Jeremy Irons and original interviews to Czech dissidents as former President Václav Havel.

The presentation of the documentary was held by the writer Paul De Vita, the Buenos Aires legislator Francisco Quintana and Petr Kopriva, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Argentina.
