CADAL organized a new meeting of Foro Latinoamericano Buenos Aires with Sérgio Fausto, executive director of Instituto Fernando Henrique Cardoso who analyzed "The political, economic and institutional performance of Brazil, 1995-2010, the recent presidential elections and the trends for the future".
Sérgio Fausto is political scientist and serves as executive director of Instituto Fernando Henrique Cardoso. He is co-director of the project Plataforma Democrática and the collection El Estado de la Democracia en América Latina. He is member of Grupo de Análisis de la Coyuntura International (Gacint) from Universidade de Sao Paulo and columnist of newspaper O Estado de S.Paulo. He was consultant of the Ministries of Finance and Planification from 1995 to 2002 and researcher at Centro Brasileiro de Análisis y Planificación (CEBRAP).
