Together with the inauguration of CADAL's new office, Adrián Lucardi and Ana Bovino offered a presentation of the preliminary results of the Legislative Barometer on "Institutional and Economic Agenda 2010-2011 for Argentina".
The opening of the event was in charge of Gabriel Salvia, Chairman of CADAL, who referred to the objective of the "Legislative Barometer" as an opinion survey by CADAL, conceived as a tool to help in the advocacy of civil society organization during the elaboration and implementation of public policies.
Then, Ana Bovino, Research Assistant of CADAL, presented the technical features of "Legislative Barometer", including Universe, Samble, type, dates of the interviews with the legislators and the list of those who answered stating the party they belong to. The survey is for federal congressmen and senators members of one of the following commissions: Budget; Economy; Finance; Commerce; Agriculture; and Energy and Oil.
Adrián Lucardi, Associated Researcher of CADAL presented the preliminary results of the Legislative Barometer on the Institutional and Economic Agenda 2010-2011 in Argentina". The survey is formed by 20 questions on matters such as which should the expense of priorities in the federal government, what are the main problems of the Argentine economy, or what is the correct policy to adopt in matters of trade, prices, or conflict between the government and the farm producers.
At the end of the presentation a cocktail was offered in acknowledgment of the work of Adrián Lucardi, who will soon be traveling to the US for his Ph.D. degree.
Among the participants were Judith de la Mata Fernández de Puente, Ambassador of Perú; Darryl John Dunn, Ambassador of New Zealand; Stepan Zajac, Ambassador of Czech Republic; and officers from the embassies of Canada, Romania and Sweden.
Frederik Udd, from the Commercial Office of the Swedish Embassy; Carlos Gervasoni, member of CADAL's Academic Council; and Tristán Rodríguez Loredo, Director of the Advisory Council of CADAL.
