The president of the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL) gave the initial words to give the Award for Committed Diplomacy in Cuba 2015, he moderated a panel about “the influence of Vaclav Havel in Latin America” and participated as speaker in the panel “Latin America: leadership in times of transition”.
This edition of Forum 200 had speakers such as his highness Dalai Lama, Nobel Peace prize winner, the ex-president of Costa Rica and Nobel Peace prize winner, Oscar Arias; Andrej Kiska, President of Slovakia; Lee So-yeon, president of the Women Union of North Korea; Adam Michnik, Editor and Chief of Gazeta Wyborca; Manal al Sharif, activist for the Human rights in Saudi Arabia; and Karel Schwarzenberg, former Minister of Foreign Relations of the Czech Republic.
Tuesday October 18, with the support of Forum 2000, CADAL organized the presentation of the Award to Committed Diplomacy in Cuba 2015, that was given to the Swede Micael Lagergren.
The same day, Salvia moderate the panel about “the influence of Vaclav Havel in Latin America”, in which speakers such as Jorge Olivera Castillo, Rafael Rincón y Martin Palous participated.
Also on Tuesday 18 the title holder of CADAL participated as speaker in the panel “Latin America: leadership in times of transition”. With Martin Palous and Axel Kaizer moderated by Tamara Suju
