During the seventeen years Alberro worked as CADAL’s Programmes Director he became a fundamental collaborator regarding the implementation of projects and the contribution for the Organization’s growth.
Alberro was in charge of the coordination of events and regional tours with acknowledged international referents, and promoted the invitation of more than two hundred democratic Cuban activists to Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Perú, Colombia, Ecuador and Trinidad and Tobago.
Furthermore, he represented CADAL in international events that took place in Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Canada, United States, Poland and Czech Republic.
He performed reports on “Free speech and economic development”, produced more than one hundred free speech alerts in Latin America and co-wrote documents on “Global development”.
Alberro has a degree in Journalism (Universidad del Salvador) and a Master's Degree in Administration and Public Policy (Universidad de San Andrés). He attended seminars at the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE), in New York (USA), and at the Institute for Humane Studies (IHS), in Virginia (USA), regarding fundamental liberties issues. He also attended courses at the National Endwoment for Democracy (NED), in Washington D.C., regarding think tanks management.
As a journalist Alberro worked for Internet Global Solutions (2001-2002) and, in earlier years, he was part of the Total News team (1998-2000).
What is more, he taught Social Communications and Methodology at Toratenu High School, in Buenos Aires (2001), and worked as Accounts Manager and Content Analyst at Sistemas de Comunicación Interna (1999-2001).
Alberro was born in Buenos Aires in 1977, he is married and has three children.
