Among the attending the celebration of the 12th anniversary of CADAL were diplomats from Germany, Australia, Austria, Spain, Norway, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Sweden and Switzerland; historians María Sáenz Quesada, Luis Alberto Romero and Fernando Pedrosa; sociologists Vicente Palermo and Sabrina Ajmechet; legislators Carla Carrizo and Victoria Roldán Méndez; journalists Daniel Muchnik and Jorge Sigal; and former Argentine Vice Chancellor Fernando Petrella. The universities were present with Marcelo Camusso (UCA), Erica Walter (USAL) and Luis María Palma (UB); and the civil society organizations Fraguío Martin (Maizar), Tristán Rodríguez Loredo (ACDE) and Leandro Querido (Electoral Transparency) also attended.
During the celebrations meeting CADAL presented the book "Challenges for strengthening democracy in Argentina" and opened the expansion of its headquarters which includes a permanent space for the photo exhibition "The Citizen Havel". The book launch was led by Marcos Novaro, author of the foreword, CONICET researcher and academic counselor of CADAL.
For his part, Gabriel Salvia, Chairman of CADAL, closed the meeting by highlighting the importance of the new book co-edited with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and invited the guests to visit the photo exhibition "The Citizen Havel", curated by Gabriel Palumbo, and celebrate the 12th anniversary of the institution with a wine Honor.
