You also can be a part of it!
As part of the celebration of its 15th anniversary, the Center for the Opening and Development of Latin America (CADAL) joined in on the "Music Makes Me Feel" initiative, proposed by the independent international organization in Denmark Freemuse. Since 1998, Freemuse has been working for the defense and respect for the freedom of artistic expression in the world. This initiative is part of the Music Freedom Day, a celebration that takes place on March 3rd in different cities of the world to celebrate the human right to freedom of musical expression.
Since its inception in 2007, Music Freedom Day has been held in more than 30 countries and counts on the participation of artists and organizations from around the world to come together to defend artistic freedom.
Collaborators, managers and friends shared their photos with CADAL, expressing what music means to them and how makes them feel. Freemuse broadcasted the invitation of the CADAL Mini-Festival, held on Monday, February 26, 2018 at El Emergente bar. They also shared in their social media all the photos of the members and acquaintances of CADAL who celebrated Music Freedom Day.
This year's events include concerts, performances, round tables and workshops in Senegal, Kenya, Jordan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia, Holland, Sweden, Norway and Italy, among other countries.
CADAL invites all those interested in this initiative to join and share their photographs and, if possible, to attend the activities.
